Attention NYSRPS members:    
 
Yesterday's budget presentation by Governor Spitzer included a very
ambitious initiative to begin to address the needed projects in our
State park facilities.  Attached is a document that lists the projects
included in this effort.
 
As you will read in the 2008 Legislative Platform, we support the
increase in the state budget to address the state park capital needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to contact your State representatives
to both support this initiative as well as express support for
additional funding for municipal park projects through increases in the
Environmental Protection Fund.
