So many different methods? At my state operated agency only a nurse
or the individual (if capable) and or a Medication Certified employee
may administer an Epi Pen. Why? Because it is a perscribed
medication. Additionally, the nurse will keep the med locked up
until needed. The med must be accompanied with doctors orders
(original packing) and are not stored overnight.
Our American Red Cross CPR and First Aid classes do not offer this
addition into their classes.
