[NYSRPS Member] Metal vs. Wood bats

Attention NYSRPS Members:
 
As some of you may know, New York City recently voted to enact a ban on
metal bats in high school baseball. (see hyperlink below)  Are there
other communities that are weighing this option, either in school or
youth baseball or softball programs?  If you are familiar with any,
please forward information to me.  Thank you.
